Who you are dealing with
The Coffee Realm, Lot 1 Block 210 Mark Street corner Dollar Street, Quezon City, Philippines 1121. 0926 916 0424. main.thecoffeerealm@gmail.com.
Your account
You can browse and order without an account. You need one to collect points, save an address, or see your order history.
Give us a real email address, because that is where order updates go. Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
You may close your account whenever you like. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your information when you do.
Prices and what you pay
Prices are in Philippine pesos and include VAT where it applies. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Delivery fees are worked out from the address you give and shown before you confirm. A second-floor dine-in order carries a fixed ₱10 service charge, which is shown on the screen before you pay.
We try hard to keep prices and availability right. If something is priced wrongly by an obvious mistake, we will tell you before we take payment rather than charge you the wrong amount.
How an order is accepted
Placing an order is you offering to buy, not us agreeing to sell. The contract is made when we accept it.
We may decline an order — we have run out, we are about to close, the address is outside the area we deliver to. If we decline after you have paid, you are refunded in full.
Once accepted, you have fifteen minutes to pay. After that the order lapses on its own and nothing is charged. You are welcome to order again.
Paying by transfer
If you pay by GCash or bank transfer, you give us the reference and a screenshot. That is not the payment — it is what lets a person at the counter go and look.
Somebody checks the money against the shop's own account before anything is made. Until they do, your order sits and waits, and the screen says so. This usually takes a minute or two in opening hours.
If we cannot find the transfer we will tell you why rather than simply cancel. You can send a corrected reference.
Discounts, points and vouchers
Points are earned on what you spend and are shown on your Rewards page. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
A discount is applied by a member of staff to specific items on your order. Until they apply it, your order shows at full price — that is deliberate, so what you are charged is always what somebody agreed to.
PWD and Senior Citizen discounts are given as Republic Act 9994 and Republic Act 10754 require, on presentation of a valid ID. We have to check it and keep a record that we did.
Offers run while they are advertised and can be withdrawn. One that has already been applied to your order stands.
Delivery and collection
Delivery is by a third-party courier. Times shown are estimates from the courier's own figures, not promises.
Somebody needs to be reachable on the number you gave. If the rider cannot find you or nobody answers, the order may come back to us and the delivery fee may not be refundable.
Collection orders are held at the counter. Come within opening hours — we cannot keep food overnight.
Allergies and what is in the food
Please tell us before you order if you have an allergy. Use the note box or tell the person at the counter.
We cannot guarantee any item is free of a given allergen. Everything is made in one kitchen where nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat and sesame are all handled, and cross-contact is possible however careful we are. If a reaction would be severe, we would rather you asked us first than took the risk.
Cancelling and refunds
All of that is on the Refund Policy page, which is part of these terms.
One condition is worth repeating here. If something arrived wrong or damaged, we ask you to send us a photograph of it the same day, by email or at the counter. It is how we check a claim without making you bring food back, and a claim with no picture takes longer to agree.
Using this site properly
Do not try to break into the site, place orders you do not intend to pay for, or use the site to harass our staff.
The photographs, text, logo and design here are ours. Use them for your own purposes only with our permission.
If something goes wrong
We are responsible for what we sell you. If we get it wrong we will put it right — remade, refunded, or both — as the Refund Policy sets out.
We do not accept responsibility for things genuinely outside our control, such as a courier's delay, a bank's processing time, or a power cut. We will always tell you what has happened rather than leave you guessing.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. It is not possible to sign that away and we are not trying to.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top is the date these last changed. Orders are governed by the terms in force when you placed them, not by a later version.
Which law applies
The laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes go to the courts of Quezon City — though we would much rather you emailed us first and gave us the chance to fix it.
